Connections from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and from Portugal

Ertransit launches a new maritime service that connects the Iberian Peninsula with Cape Verde, through its consolidation hub in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and via Portugal.

Through Las Palmas de Gran Canaria it connects with Praia, on the Island of Santiago, and distributes the load to the rest of the islands of the archipelago through an inter-island service, both for full loads-FCL and groupage loads-LCL. Another possibility, through Portugal, connects the ports of Leixoes and Lisbon with the main Cape Verdean islands.

With this second alternative, a new communication channel is opened for Spanish exporters from Castilla y León, Extremadura and Galicia.

Both services integrate transport, customs and storage for all types of cargo, including perishable products that require refrigerated logistics, and include distribution between islands and land delivery to the final destination

Europe-Islands and Time critical services

European companies also have a complementary land-maritime service, which connects northern Europe with the Islands through the consolidation center that Ertransit has in Barcelona.

For more urgent shipments that require greater immediacy, such as spare parts, certain types of perishables and pharmaceutical items, Ertransit has a regular and time critical air transport service.

With the launch of this new service with Cape Verde, Ertransit consolidates its track record in providing integrated logistics services with the islands and reinforces its position in freight traffic between continental Europe and island territories.
